Hello! We have never used Jason. The forum rules does not let you promote any travel companies or persons. I also have read over the months the controversity about this guide and his services. I did compare him with the travel company we normally use on room rates at the New world hotel in saigon. He was much higher. He might be a really good guide that works out of an existing travel company in saigon. I do not know? Anyways...we have used V'Exploretravel located in Saigon the last 4 times we have toured vietnam ect. We always shop and compare with other good Vietnam travel company's. The owner/manager Nghia Nguyen has always come through with the service and has the conections for great room rates for hotels and resorts. They have some great tour packages that are very reosonable. In the last 3.5 years he has always met us at the saigon airport and given us a complimentory dinner with him while we are in Saigon . If you want a personal touch with quality at a reasonable price you may want to see what his company has to offer. We are from Seattle , WA . I was a soldier there in 1970 and heard about the many changes in vietnam . My wife and I have gone back and have now many vietnames friends. My son came with us on our 2nd trip and met a vietnames girl who he now is married to. Life is strange...I will send this letter to you and to V'EXPLORE Travel Company. Dear Mr. Nghia,

I want to thank you for the great trip you put together for my friend and I.  I had no idea that Vietnam had so much to offer.  I was surprised to find that Vietnam had such a rich history.  The guides you arranged for us were very knowledgeable.  I found everything they showed us and told us very interesting.  They were extremely pleasant to work with as well. 

In fact one of the nicest things I discovered about Vietnam was the people.  They are friendly, helpful and full of life.  The villages and cities you arranged for us to visit were vibrating with life; people were setting up shop everywhere.  It seems the front of every house is a shop or restaurant.  I was impressed buy there industriousness, everyone was doing something useful.  I have not seen that kind of effort in any other country I have visited. 

The scenery was amazing, especially the beaches.  I have rarely seen such beautiful beaches without crowds of people.  The places you arranged for us to stay on the beach were amazing.  Quiet, peaceful and uncluttered stretches of beautiful white sandy beaches.  I would get up early and walk the beaches as the sun was coming up and listen to the chatter of the fishermen as they prepared their nets for the days catch.  It was magical. 

Every hotel you booked for us had something interesting to offer.  They were all first class but gave us a variety of experiences.  From the historical Rex Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City to the beautiful French colonial hotel in Hue , we were never disappointed with our accommodations. 

 This has been my favorite tour experience and I have seen a great deal of the world.  You made Vietnam come alive for me and I will return as often as I can.  Thank you again for a job extremely well done.
